Rooted in the Mellor community since 1881 and set within a beautiful rural landscape, we are a village school with a warm, family atmosphere and a commitment to educational excellence. At Mellor, our mission is simple but powerful: Making People Shine. Created by one of our pupils, it lies at the heart of everything we do. We are home to over 220 children, from Nursery through to Year 6, and we focus on educating the whole child: academically, socially, and emotionally, so they are well-prepared for both their next stage of education and for life beyond school, in an ever-changing world.
