In creating the Learning Projects we fully acknowledge that they cannot replace the quality of learning your child would normally receive at school however, our complete focus has been on creating a set of projects that all children can access to maximise their learning whilst at home. Mellor Primary School would like to thank and acknowledge the Robin Hood Multi Academy Trust for the starting point for the Learning Projects. Mellor Staff have adapted and amended these for our school and children.
Teach children current affairs through Picture News
Resources are designed to provide opportunities for children to learn from our world and develop respect for other’s beliefs, feelings and faiths. They encourage exploration, discussion, challenge and inspire children to learn! We often use Picture News in Assemblies.
