Life Skill Challenges
School would normally be closed for the half term break over the next 2 weeks but we have set you some challenges to try over that time if you wish.

The Book of Hopes: Words and Pictures to Comfort, Inspire and Entertain Children in Lockdown
Completely free for all children and families, the extraordinary collection of short stories, poems, essays and pictures has contributions from more than 110 children’s writers and illustrators, including Lauren Child, Anthony Horowitz, Greg James and Chris Smith, Michael Morpurgo, Liz Pichon, Axel Scheffler, Francesca Simon and Jacqueline Wilson.
The collection, published by Bloomsbury, is dedicated to the doctors, nurses, carers, porters, cleaners and everyone currently working in hospitals.

British Red Cross- First Aid Champions
What could be a better Life Skill than learning vital first aid skills? Even better, the whole family can get involved with help from the British Red Cross. First Aid Champions is packed full of learning activities. From films and photos to role plays and quizzes there’s something for everyone.
Books for Topics
With access to libraries, classrooms and bookshops limited for many, Books for Topics have been busy finding some of the best online story times for children to access freely at home. The QR codes and links in the document link to story readings on YouTube and all of the books chosen are read aloud by their fabulous authors and illustrators.
Story Time Online have book suggestions for ages 3-5, 5-7, 7-9 and 9-11.
